Mirza Ali Akbar Khan "Vazir" Mirza Ali Akbar Khan, also known as Mirza Ali Jaan (d. 1909), was a warrior in the Constitutional Revolution. When his brother, Motazed-Dowleh, went to Tehran with Sartip Khaneh-kharab, Mirza Ali Jaan went into hiding in Kermanshah. At the same time, the anti-constitutionalist Salar-ed-Dowleh (1881–1961) was sent by Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar to destroy Motazed-Dowleh’s estates and murder his brothers. One night, one of Mirza Ali Akbar Khan’s close friends, Mohammad Ali, went to the former’s hiding place and asked him to come out. Mirza Ali Akbar Khan refused but Mohammad Ali insisted and told him he had something important to tell him. As soon as they approached each other, Mohammad Ali stabbed Mirza Ali Akbar Khan Vaziri. The latter fell on the ground, and Mohammad Ali, along with some of Salar-ed-Dowleh’s soldiers, took Mirza Ali Akbar Khan to Salar-ed-Dowleh. Salar-ed-Dowleh ordered his soldiers to kill Mirza Ali Akbar Khan, who was still alive at that time; they strangled him to death.
