Political conference in London Shahrokh Vaziri is M'otaz-ed-Daftar's eldest son. He went to study in Switzerland in the early 1960s. He received his doctorate of Political Economy from the University of Lausanne in 1978. He was a political activist. Because of his ideal of liberty and democracy, he refused the post of Minister that the Shah's government suggested him and the post of Ambassador that the revolutionary Bazargan's government suggested him. He fought against the Islamic Republic and shared the board of directors of the Prime minister Shapour Bakhtiar's political party, National Movement of Iranian Resistance ("Nehzat Moghavemat Melli Iran"). He met many Heads of state and high officials to discuss about the situation in Iran. After the assassination of Bakhtiar, he became professor of political science in the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Some books he has written are : "Du ghanat à l'oléoduc: Essai sur le pétrole et le pouvoir en Iran", "Iran: pouvoir politique et société au XXème siècle", "Elites et Mirages", "Iran: Islam et luttes d'émancipation nationale", "Le Pétrole et le pouvoir en Iran".
